"Lavina" is named as the daughter of Henry Dellinger in her paternal grandfather's Revolutionary War Pension file.[1]
A Find A Grave memorial states she married first in 1831 to a Mr McCanless,[2] but this is incorrect. Lovina, daughter of Henry and Catherine (Setzer) Dellinger, was married only once. There was a McCanless groom-Dellinger bride, but that bride was not Lovina.
