William Jehu Dellinger, son of Rachel Wise and Joseph Dellinger, was born in 1852 and died in 1907. When he registered to vote in 1902, he listed himself as a descendant of Joe Dellinger.[1]
The 1860 U.S. census for McDowell County, North Carolina, records "Jahu W. Dillinger" in the household of Joseph and Rachel Dillinger.[2]
