Biography
Jean Marie was a school teacher graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1939 having received a scholarship to attend. She taught in a one room school in Washington County near where she was raised by her Aunt Sara Fleming Caldwell. She earned a Master's Degree and was a remedial reading teacher eventually retiring from Wheeling Park High School, thus having taught every grade of public education during her career.
