Death

Esther died 18 Mar 1799, at the age of 85 and is buried with her husband in Jonathan Wheeler Cemetery #24, in Stonington.^{[4][5][19][20]}

Inscription: "in memory of Mrs Esther Wheeler relict of Mr Jonathan Wheeler who died March 18th in the 85th year of her age"^[21]

Note: Find A Grave has her listed as being buried in White Hall Graveyard in Mystic, however, she and her husband are buried according to the Hale entry cited above.^[22][23]
