Anna Denison was the ninth and final child of Prudence Miner & Joseph Denison of Stonington, Connecticut. Her birth date is not evident; she was baptized on 3 May 1724.

She married three times:

1. 8 Nov 1739 at Windham, Connecticut, Amos Allen
2. in 1772 Edward Paine
3. in 1779 Simeon Spaulding
