I was born in England in 1956, and have managed to build a reasonable amount of information going back to the early 1800's
I found someone who researched his family tree, which has very strong liks to mine during the 19th century, in incredible depth for the last 40 years, which has been a great help.
Thank you for your decision to contribute. WikiTreers have all sorts of skills, but one common interest - genealogy. I would recommend first looking around and become familiar with the various functions.
The main menu, located at the top right of the page, offers access to the most important features amongst them your Wiki-ID. In the help section »G2G« at the bottom, youll find the WikiTree online help. You can ask all sorts of questions, technical and others, and because WikiTree is worldwide, there is almost always someone online, who can give a qualified answer. Good luck! - And don't forget to sign the Honor Code. Pleasure to have you aboard.
2. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.
If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.
Thank you for visiting WikiTree and I hope you enjoy exploring our friendly community.
