Biography

Alexander Dennett was born "years earlier than '1670,' perhaps" in England[1]; died, perhaps Portsmouth, New Hampshire,[2] between 26 December 1729 (date of will) and 26 June 1733 (probate).[3]

Alexander married by 1693,[4] Mehitable Tetherly, daughter of of Gabriel Tetherly.[5] He married second 2 December 1728 to Esther (Mason) Cross, widow of John Cross.[6] She married again, 12 December 1736, Anthony Rowe. [7]

Alexander may have been the brother of John Dennett of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.[8]
