Thankful was born circa 1735. Her parents are not known
Note, a great many online family trees show her as born 14 September 1735, a daughter of Abraham Dennis and Mercy Ellis of Sandwich Mass and Rhode Island. However, Massachusetts Vital Records clearly show this child died in 1737, at the age of 2[1]
Was she possibly a daughter of Abner and Mary Dennis of Rhode Island? [2]. Are there other options to explore?
In 1761, in Rochester, Massachuseets, Thankful Dennis married Barnabas Freeman, son of Elisha and Lydia Freeman of Liverpool, Nova Scotia [3][4][5][6]
Thankful (Dennis) Freeman passed away 15 Aug 1770 in Liverpool.[6]
