Ann McInally was born about 1853 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Daniel Denny and Ann Mcinally were married on 12 Feb 1872 in Clyde, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.[1] Based on Census and other records, they had at least the following children:
Ann Denny, b. 8 Sep 1891 Blackfriars, Glasgow, Scotland[2]
Charles Joseph Denny, b. 3 Dec 1892 Glasgow
The family apparently had children in Scotland, travelled to Massachusetts between 1876, when daughter Mary was born, and 1880, when they appeared on the US Census. The family then returned to Glasgow between 1886, the year Theresa was born, and 1891, when they appeared on the Scotland Census. At least Ann and children Theresa and Charles J. later returned to Massachusetts.
In 1880, Ann Denny lived in Clinton, Worcester, Massachusetts, with her husband Daniel and two children. Daniel worked in a cotton mill.[3]
In 1891, Daniel and Ann Denny lived at 160 Saltmarch St., Blackfriars, Glasgow Bridgegate, Lanarkshire. Daniel worked as a cotton dyer.[4]
In 1901, Daniel Denny lived at 5 Stockwell Pl in Blythswood, Glasgow St Enoch, Lanarkshire, with three children. Wife Ann is not present.[5]
In 1920, Ann Denny, widow of Daniel Denny, lived at 56 Mead Street in Lowell, Massachusett. Son Charles J. Denny, an assistant cashier, is living at the the same address.[6]
The Lowell City Directory for 1934 says that Ann Denny died on 23 April 1933 in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[7][8]
