Samuel was born 1797 in Newport, Hants County, Nova Scotia(Death Reg) to John Densmore and Lydia Mosher. He was a Farmer.

Samuel married Letitia Densmore, daughter of Francis Densmore and Sarah Mosher. They made their home in Noel, Hants County, Nova Scotia.

Samuel died at the age of 76 due to a fall from a horse? Death informant Lucilla Densmore.
