Edna Elrine Denton was the daughter of Hector Henry & Johanna Cecilia Denton. Born on 18/8/1915 and baptized 19/9/1915 in the Anglican Church, Rustenburg, Transvaal by Pastor W. Swart and parents are witnesses.^[1]

1st Marriage

William Gordon Marshall Tait (25) was married to Edna Elrine Denton (17) parents consent, on 9 January 1933 at the Magistrates Court Johannesburg, Transvaal by Marriage Officer M.R. Hartogh, and witnessed by H.G.N.M. Muddle and J. Curtis. ^[2]
