Do not attach as wife of William Duval
Isabel Anderson was born around 1621 near Spalding, Lincolnshire, England. Her Parents are unknown at this time. Isabel married William Davol also of Spalding, Lincolnshire, England If records are correct Isabel was around 100 years old when she passed in 1722. She is believed to be buried along side her family in the Common Burying Ground Cemetery in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island.
William the immigrant to New England wasn't the one from Spalding, Lincolnshire. He and his wife Isabel had a still-born child buried there on 23 September 1642, years after New England William immigrated (parish register of St. Mary and St. Nicholas, Spalding, images at findmypast.uk.com). Their marriage is also in this register. There was no "Elizabeth Isabel Anderson." He was the only man with his name in Spalding in the early to mid 17th century, making it very likely he was the William baptized there in 1615, buried there in 1655, followed by widow "Deavill" buried in 1656.
