Research Notes Eliza STEEL is mentioned in 1816 Baldwin Co GA will of her uncle Archibald DEVEREAUX (witnessed by Tomlinson Fort, et al). Elizabeth STEEL is listed in 1820 census Baldwin Co GA & in 1830 Baldwin Co GA (as E STEEL & nr Morris MARTIN). Her will was dated and proven in 1830 Baldwin Co GA & mentions Benjamin WOOLSEY, Maurin (possibly Morris memorial # 13839205 buried in Sand Hill Cemetery) MARTIN & John STEPHENS as well as 3 of her children. Would like to find an obituary or church membership record if there is one. The 1830 census lists one person engaged in manufactures. (Tomlinson FORT is found in 1840 Baldwin Co GA & on Find A Grave Memorial # 7780963 buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Milledgeville.)
