Dimon used by Mayflower Society: Dymond or Dymon used in the Barbour Collection.

Ruth Dimon , daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Bradley) Dimon, was born 12 Sept 1680 in New London, Connecticut. [1]

Ruth married in New London 29 Feb 1699/1700, Benjamin Shapley, who was also a descendant of William Brewster. [1]

Ruth Shapley died before May 1705. [1]

They had two sons, born and baptized in New London. [1]

  1. Benjamin born Wed 9 Spt 1702; bpt 25 Oct 1702
  2. Joseph b. after his father's death on 28 April/1 May 1705; bpt 27 May 1705.
