John was born in 1823. John is the child of Darius Dickinson and Elizabeth Thomas.

John and Rhoda must have died before the 1881 census as some of there children are found living with relatives at this time.

A daughter, Anna Dickinson, 1859—1931, 1st married William V. McIntosh 2nd married Stephen John or John Stephen Sharp, 1849—1916, s/o Stephen Francis Sharp & Phebe Jones.
