Biography
Arthur joined the retail business of John McLaughlin in 1908. In 1915 he formed a partnership with Anthony Baker and took over the business and changed the name to Hartland Clothing Co. Ltd. Member of the Hartland United Baptist Church Choir for 40 years. 1923-1931 Member of Hartland Town Council. 1935-1954 president of Hartland Clothing Co. Ltd.
