Harry Dickinson was born in Wakefield the son of John & Martha Dickinson. He was a tanner, & a grocery clerk/owner. He petitioned for bridge to be built across the St. John river March 15, 1898. Harry married Agnes Rideout on June 5, 1901. In 1905 Harry & Agnes moved to Perth, N.B. He owned a grocery store there. he was a member of the Orange Lodge. he served on the Victoria County Council & he was a Warden. Harry's death was caused by a heart attack. buried in the Baptist Cemetery, Andover, N.B. [1]
Press Newspaper June 10, 1901 On Wednesday afternoon a large number of invited quests gathered at the home of Joseph Rideout at Upper Brighton, the occasion being the marriage of their daughter Agnes Elizabeth to Harry Newell Dickinson of this village. The ceremony was performed in the open air, Rev. J. B. Daggett officiating. After the ceremony the company partook of a boutiful supper. Mr. and Mrs. Dickinson will have the good wishes of a large circle of friends. They will reside in Hartland, and will be "at home" after June 17
