Mary was know by family as "Mame". Mame was born in Wakefield, N.B. in 1869. She was listed in the membership of the Wakefield Free Christian Baptist Church in 1886. On November 14, 1891 she was married to Daniel Boyd at the residence of G. W. Johnson of Presque Isle, ME. by Rev Calkins. She moved to Fort Fairfield, Maine where she was a member of the Congregational Church there. Mame was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was buried at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, ME.
