Ellen was born in 1853. She was the first wife of Judge Byron Beaufort Bower. They married in 1871 in Decatur County, Georgia.[1]
She passed away in 1885, and was buried in the Bower family plot in the Oak City Cemetery in, Bainbridge, Georgia. Her grave marker is an impressive tall marker with a large angel at the top. Find A Grave: Memorial #32123280
