Adam Adolph was born in Klings, Thuringen, 18 March 1867, out of wedlock son to Konrad Dietrich and Christina Elisabeth Günther. [1]
Adolph & his sister Elisa Bittorf were the first of the family to come to the U.S. in 1882. Adolph's first wife was Hanna T. (maiden name unknown). She died in Sept 23 1887 in Jacksonport, Door County,Wisconsin. She was born May 15, 1855 in Germany. She is buried at the Zion Lutheran Church cemetery. Adolf married Hattie Nauman (Edviga Naumann) in 1891. [2]

Adolph Adam Dietrich died at his home in Jacksonport, Door County, Wi. on August 1, 1943. from a stroke he suffered the day before, he had two minor strokes previously. He was born in Saxen-Weimar, Eissenach,Germany, a son of Conrad and Elizabeth Dietrich. He came to this country with his father in 1887 and settled in Jacksonport, Door County, Wi,clearing a farm and helping build the church. The funeral services were held at the home of his daughter Mrs. Alfred Flock.
