DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Florian by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Florian:

Deitrich-31 and Dietrich-467 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. FNAB almost cettainly Dietrich, but he switched to Deitrich as an adult.

I agree, and it appears I was going to merge, but clearly Dietrich-467 will still have much work to do yet, in particular is who is his mother. His father was married twice.

Even in my Ernst Schindler Family Tree I (shamefully) have errors that must me sorted out (need more documentation). Anyone who has more time and/or interest to sort it all out please do. I have never used the "postpone with an Unmerged mattch" before---Is that what I should do?

Both Ancestry and Family Search records need scrutiny here. My tree Ernst Schindler-Egypte1 is

Dietrich-473 and Dietrich-467 appear to represent the same person because: It has been awhile since this exact duplicate has been looked at. The different mothers need to be resolved to it can be merged. Thanks!
Dietrich-467 and Dietrich-473 are not ready to be merged because: Oops -- different mothers! Is there a good source for this information, so the correct mother can be identified?

Dietrich-473 and Dietrich-467 appear to represent the same person because: Profiles are identical except for the Ancestry Family Tree URLs (both of which are now deadlinks -- please delete the URLs when you edit the profile text after the merge).
