(Edwards-7481 20:35, 8 January 2018 (EST)Think I saw in Green's Culpepper the Dillard Marriage but will have to recheck as do not recall if Charles was same or a contemporary. In the meantime this will keep the 2 famlies as separate -- Elizabeth's death would seem to conflict with Woods marriage -- Rootsweb currently offline)

The Robert Duncan who died in Fauquier County in 1818 absolutely married to this Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dillard, daughter of George. The daughters this Robert named in his 1818 will are confirmed by the 30th Dec 1797 will of Elizabeth's brother, John Dillard, who died without issue. There were 7 daughters of his sister Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Dillard) Duncan named in John Dillard's will to include, Priscilla Bowmer, Peggy Duncan, Ann Carter, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucinda, and Sally James Duncan. Here is the link to her brother's will. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L9PC-M7T4?i=655&cat=418537 Culpeper Will Book , p. 312-313.
The estates of Elizabeth's brothers, John Dillard and Major Dillard (who has no profile), were apparently yet to be settled when sister Sarah (Duncan) Colvin wrote her will dated 26th January 1839 (link on her profile). There may be more evidence of these relationships in Major Duncan's estate. John Duncan left a widow, no issue, so his estate was to go to his named heirs at her death. Haven't identified her yet...
