Research Notes

Regarding his Last Name At Birth: most records, for him and his father, give it as "Dillion."

Regarding his given name: It is seen as Mastin, Maston, and Masten, and even as "Martin." But when the examples of Martin are examined closely, it can be seen as a miss-transcription of Mastin. Due to the number of times Mastin and Martin have been found in documents, the spelling "Mastin" has been chosen for this profile.

Dillon-1400 and Dillon-1374 appear to represent the same person because: Exact same birth date. Exact same death date. Exact same death location. Same birth state. (no WV in 1805 right?) Mother on Dillon-1374 is right, but father needs adjusting.
