Dixon "Dick" Frank Dillon was born 29 June 1857 in McNairy County, Tennessee, the son of John A, Dillon and Matilda Causey.

HE first married Mary F. Dillan (1854–25 July 1882) on 19 December 1878, They had two daughters = Maggie (b.1879) and Katie (18 June - 20 September 1882)

He second married Margaret Ann Grant (9 December 1866 -21 July 1946) on 23 Dec 1884. They had a daughter Jewell (b. July 1895). She married James B Wilson

Dick died 22 February 1934 in Corinth, Alcorn, Mississippi .
