John Francis Bondhead Dinsmore was born 16 Feb 1860 in St. Mary's, Perth, Canada West. [1] He was named after Sir Francis Bond Head
John was living in Amabel, Bruce, Ontario on 4 Oct 1877 when he married Cecelia Noble in Sarawak, Bruce County. [2] Cecelia died without issue and John was living in Keppel, Grey, Ontario on 12 Sep 1879 when he married Cecelia's sister Mary in Keppel. [3]
Between 1881 and 1901 John and Mary lived in Wiarton, Ontario, Canada. Wiarton spread into Huron county from Bruce, so they were in Huron in 1881 and Bruce in 1891 and 1901. [4][5] John was a foreman on the railway by 1901.[6]
Frank had moved to 405 N. Vickers, Fort William, Ontario and become a retail grocer by 1911. [7]
They moved to Port Arthur and later to BC. He had a variety store in Vancouver until 1928 at which time he and his wife moved back to Port Arthur where he operated another variety store. [8]
Frank died 18 Aug 1935 of a cerebral thrombosis in St. Joseph's Hospital, Port Arthur, (now Thunder Bay), Ontario and was buried 20 Aug 1935 in Fort William, (now Thunder Bay). [9]
