Milley Dishman was born on October 7, 1833 in Fentress, Tennessee, United States, daughter of Archibald Dishman (1806–1879) and Jane Cooper (1804–1879).

Milley (34) married George Washington Crouch (34) (born on March 1, 1833 in Fentress County, Tennessee; son of John Wesley Crouch and Rebecca Elizabeth (Kidd) Crouch) about 1868 in Fentress.
