According to the 1880 census, Mary lived with her parents and siblings in Lewis County, Kentucky.[3]
Mary married William McClain around 1887.
According to the 1900 census, Mary lived with William and their children, Everett, Freddie, Harry, Andrew, and Henry in Lewis County, Missouri.[4]
Mary died on December 25, 1906. She is buried in the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Kentucky.[1]
