The donation land claim of Thomas Livingston was purchased by R. B. Dixon in 1878 and remained in his possession until his death Nov. 6, 1929. It now belongs to his heirs. R. B. Dixon married the daughter of Thomas Livingston, Nancy, who died in 1888 and is buried beside her husband in the Masonic cemetery at Roseburg, Oregon.
