Ship Builder. Built the largest ship ever in Sackville. The Sarah Dixon at 1465 tons. Unfortunately this coincided with a market downturn and he had to sell it at a loss leading him to bankruptcy. The Sarah Dixon became a transport ship carrying migrants to Australia.[1]
