Anna Dixon (Dixson) was born in England in 1812. Her parents and three children were brought to the St. John New Brunswick area by the English military in the spring of 1819. Her father George Dixon and wife Rebecca and the three children received military rations at Fort Presque Isle on 10 Jul 1819.
Her father signed for her to be married to Jeptha (Jepheth) Rideout on 30 Nov 1830.
