Isabella Dobbing, daughter of John Dobbins and Elizabeth Carnahan of County Antrim, Ireland, was born in 1831 in County Antrim.
She was wed to Andrew Gordon, a native of County Sligo, Ireland. Isabella and Andrew had at least six children.
Isabella Dobbing Gordon died in 1898 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
