Biography
Alice Caroline Dobson was born on December 31, 1873 in Picton, New Zealand, daughter of Alfred Dobson (1824–1887) and Lucy Lough (~1838–1916).
Alice (21) married her cousin Herbert Alexander Dobson (34) (born in 1860 in New Zealand; son of Edward Dobson and Mary Ann (Lough) Dobson) on October 23, 1895 in Church of Nativity, Blenheim, New Zealand. [1]
Their children were:
- Lois Rosamond Dobson (1905–1944)
- Lillian Margery Dobson (1908–1991)
Alice died on October 5, 1930, aged 56.
(The fathers of Herbert and Alice were brothers and the mothers of Herbert and Alice were sisters.)
