Biography

Mariah died in childbirth. She is buried in the Busby Cemetery, a small family cemetery that was part of the Busby Farm. There is no marker on her grave, but her death record is in the Fall Creek Friends Meeting House records. Saul was a minister there, as well as a farmer. He and his brother settled this area of Madison County after coming here by wagon train to escape the drought in Virginia.
