Biography
A gentleman of 72, he came to Fort Cumberland aboard the immigrant ship Albion in 1774 to settle the accounts of a brother who had come to America from Yorkshire a few years earlier. He was accompanied by his servant Sarah Barr (1753-), age 21. Richard Dobson passed away in 1775.[1]
