Biography

Burial: Christina is buried in Blue Mountain Memorial Garden, Myra Road, College Place, Washington.

Mrs. Hansen was born to Chris and Dorothy (Martzolf) Dockter. She attended school in North Dakota and moved from there to Walla Walla, Washington while in her mid-teens. On Nov. 23, 1920, she married Charles Hansen. A homemaker, her lifelong interests were her home, family and church, making hand-crafted items, cooking, baking and canning. Mr. Hansen died Nov. 23, 1973. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Mill Creek Homemakers Club and the Odd Fellows auxiliary. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Frances Hansen of Walla Walla; two brothers, George and Jack Dockter of Walla Walla; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one step-great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
