Biography

Otho G Dodd was enumerated as son of the head of household in Attala County, Mississippi for the June 15, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born January 1890 in Mississippi, single and a farm laborer. Also included in the household are head George A Dodd, daughter Lena M Dodd, daughter Genevieve Dodd, daughter Effie E Dodd and son Samuel L Dodd as seen in an image of the original census.[1]

Otho G Sanders (Dodd) was enumerated as son of the head of household at Beat 5, Attala County, Mississippi for the April 19, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1890 in Mississippi and single. He was a farm laborer on a home farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head George A Dodd, daughter Lena D Sanders, granddaughter Lucile Sanders, granddaughter Kathleen Sanders and hired man Meek Dodd.[2]

Otho George Dodd registered for military service as recorded in this June 5, 1917 United States, World War I Draft Registration Card. His birth was listed as January 31, 1890 in Attala, Mississippi. His address was Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi. His occupation was farming and he worked for himself in Attala County, Mississippi. He was married and claimed exemption due to his eyesight. He was tall and stout with light brown eyes and light brown hair as seen in this image of the original form.[3]

Other G Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Kosciusko and Dossville Road, Beat 5, Attala County, Mississippi for the January 19, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1890 in Mississippi and married. He was an owner and a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is wife Icy Dodd.[4]

Otho George Dodd is buried at Conehoma Cemetery in Williamsville, Attala County, Mississippi.[5]
