Biography

John E Dodd was enumerated at The Twenty-ninth District, Fayette County, Georgia for the November 10, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1847 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Willis Dodd, female Rachel A Dodd and female Mary J Dodd.[1]

J. E. Dodd wed S. J. Brown September 12, 1867 in Cass County, Texas.[2]

J E Dodd was enumerated at Bright Star Post Office, Sulphur Fork Township, Lafayette County, Arkansas for the July 15, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1847-1848 in Georgia and a farmer as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Sarah J Dodd, female Mary G Dodd and male J J Dodd.[3]

John Ed Dodd was listed as the father of A L Dodd who died November 16, 1940 in Cass County, Texas Death. The mother was listed as Sallie Brown.[4]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[5] Elizabeth Rachel A Dodd is buried at Courtland Cemetery in Queen City, Cass County, Texas.[6]
