Matildin Sexton was enumerated as boarder (mother) of the head of household at 521 Watts Avenue, Laurens Ward 2, Laurens County, South Carolina for the April 21, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1836 in South Carolina and widowed. She was the mother of seven children of which four were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jeff D Sexton, wife Lida M Sexton and daughter Willie Sexton.[2]
Sarah Anne Matilda Dodd Sexton is buried at Laurens City Cemetery in Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina.[4]
