James M Dodd was enumerated as son of the head of household in Red Apple, Boaz, Marshall County, Alabama for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born November 1882 in Georgia and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John H Dodd, wife Icida Dodd, son Cola O Dodd, son Earnest M Dodd and son David E Dodd.[1]

James M Dodd wed Fannie Roe January 3, 1904 in Marshall County, Alabama as seen in an image of the original marriage license.[2]

James M Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Arab and Guntersville Road, Warrenton, Marshall County, Alabama for the May 1, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1883 in Alabama and had been married six years. He was a farmer on a general farm and a renter as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Margurite F Dodd, son James E Dodd, daughter Norma L Dodd and son Frank H Dodd.[3]

James M Dodd was enumerated as head of the household in Section Road, Grassy, Marshall County, Alabama for the April 28, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1884 in Alabama and widowed. He was a renter and a farmer on a general farm as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are son Marvin Dodd, daughter Ruth Dodd, daughter Colene Dodd and daughter Ora M Dodd.[5]

James M Dodd wed Miss Nellie Harper December 21, 1933 in Marshall County, Alabama as seen in an image of the original marriage license.[6]
