Biography
According to her son Thomas, Mabel "was the youngest daughter of Thomas Dodd, of Sidwood, in the north-west part of (Northumberland), by his first wife."[1]
Mabel had five daughters and two sons.
She died (along with her husband and her third daughter) from a fever that nearly wiped out the family in December of 1766.

"My mother was the youngest daughter of Thomas Dodd of Sidwood in the north west part of the county of Northumberland, by his first wife. He was a person of great respectability, and lived on a small estate of his own, which he left to his only son by his second wife." [2]
