Biography

Eler Dodd was enumerated as daughter at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the June 7, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as born 1869 in Arkansas and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Thomas Dodd, wife Angeline Dodd, son Samuel Dodd, son Joseph Dodd and son Franklin Dodd.[1]

Louella Mcknight was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Justice Precinct 4 (east of T.& P. r.r.), Cass County, Texas for the June 4, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born April 1869 in Arkansas and had been married seven years. She was the mother of four children of which all were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head W F Mcknight, son Clide Mcknight, son Louis Mcknight, daughter Anna L Mcknight, daughter Amy A Mcknight, son Coby S Mcknight and daughter Jessie L Mcknight.[2]

Louella Mcknight was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Justice Precinct 4, Cass County, Texas for the April 16, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1870 in Arkansas and married. She is shown to be a mother of seven children who were all living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William F Mcknight, daughter Annie Mcknight, daughter Amy Mcknight, son Colie Mcknight, daughter Jessie Mcknight, son Sam Mcknight, daughter Pauline Mcknight and son Guy Mcknight.[3]

Ella Mcknight was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Justice Precinct 4, Cass County, Texas for the January 10, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1870 in Arkansas and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Wm F Mcknight, daughter Annie Mcknight, daughter Jessie Mcknight, son Sam Mcknight, daughter Pauline Mcknight and son Guy Mcknight.[4]

Lou Ella Dodd McKnight is buried at Salem Cemetery in Bloomburg, Cass County, Texas.[5]
