John S Dodd was enumerated at Benton County, Alabama for the January 7, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1846 in Alabama as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male A S Dodd, female Sarah Dodd, male James A Dodd, female Mary A Dodd, female Lucinda Dodd, female Nancy Dodd and female Sarah Dodd.[1]

John S Dodd was enumerated at Lauderdale Station Post Office, Beat No 2, Lauderdale County, Mississippi for the July 6, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1848 in Georgia as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male A L Dodd, female Sarah A Dodd, female Lucinda J Dodd, female Mary E Dodd, female Sarah E Dodd, female Martha G Dodd, male Taylor H Dodd and male William E Dodd.[2]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[3] John Samuel Dodd is buried at Lebanon Cemetery in Grady, Webster County, Mississippi, USA.[4]
