William H Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1828 in South Carolina and had been married forty-four years. He was a farm manager on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Mary J Dodd, granddaughter Verna L Murray, granddaughter Dovie B Murray and hired man Bert B Parker.[3]
Willis Henderson Dodd is buried at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Doddridge, Miller County, Arkansas.[4]
William was born in 1827. He passed away in 1914.

15 May 1865: Willis Henason Dodd and M G Miers (13) were married in Lafayette County, Arkansas. The record notes that Willis was 36 and that M G's parents consented to the marriage.[8][9]
1900 Census: Willis H Dodd and his wife Mary J Dodd (48) are living in the Sulphur Township of Miller County, Arkansas.Willis' occupation was listed as a physician and a farmer. The record also reflects that Willis was 72 years old, born in South Carolina during December of 1827, and that he had been married to Mary for 34 years.[10]
