Biography

Jesse Dodd was enumerated at Twenty-ninth District, Fayette County, Georgia for the December 14, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1831 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Edward Dodd, female Jane Dodd, female Luiza C Dodd, female Susanah H Dodd, male Calvin J Dodd and female Tabitha (?).[1]

Jesse J. Dodd wed Martha C. Jones (James) October 7, 1856 in Fayette County, Georgia as seen in the image of the original marriage register.[2]

1858 - Sulfur Forks, Miller County, Arkansas

J J Dodd was enumerated at Post Office Spring Bank, Sulphur Fork Township, Lafayette County, Arkansas for the July 11, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1832 in Georgia. He was a farmer and had $1600 in value of real estate and $1790 of personal estate as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Martha Dodd, male Danl D Dodd, female Mary A Dodd and male John Camp.[3]

Jessee Dodd was enumerated at Douglasville Post Office, Davis County, Texas for the August 3, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1832-1833 in Georgia and a farmer that had $2500 in value of real estate and $1800 in value of personal assets as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Martha Dodd, male Daniel D Dodd, female Seporah (Sussanah) Dodd, male (female) Amizona Dodd, female Evie Dodd and male Spurgeon Dodd.[4]
