June 6, 1900 - Justice Precinct 3, Wise County, Texas

Ibera Dodd was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Justice Precinct 2, Wise County, Texas for the April 23, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1899 in Texas and single. She was a farm laborer on a home farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Lawell Dodd, wife Bessie Dodd, daughter Virgia Dodd, son Jeffie Dodd, son Velmar Dodd and daughter Gladys Dodd.[1]

Beva Dodd was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Alvord, Wise County, Texas for the February 17, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1899 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head L J Dodd, wife Bessie Dodd, son Jefre Dodd, daughter Virgie Dodd, son Velmer Dodd, daughter Gladys Dodd, son Alvis Dodd and son Winston Dodd.[2]

Bera R Cook was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Precinct 1, Dawson County, Texas for the April 8, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1898 in Texas and married. She was first married at the age of twenty-eight as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household is head James B Cook.[3]

On April 1, 1935, Roxie Cook lived in Montague County, Texas.[4]

Roxie Cook was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Route 1, Denver Road, Precinct 8, Montague County, Texas for the April 2, United States Census, 1940. She was noted as born 1899 in Texas and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Bascom Cook and son Joe Gene Cook.[4]

The family called her Bera. Her husband was Bascom Cook. They had one son, Joe Gene Cook. Bera and Bascom Cook lived in Sunset, Texas. She was Alvis Dodd's sister and an aunt to my husband Mr. Pat Dodd. Bascom, Bera and Joe Gene Cook have died. Joe Gene Cook's wife and his one and only son are also dead. Joe Gene Cook lived in the Fort Worth, Texas area at the time of his death. I think Bera Dodd Cook and her husband are buried in the cemetery at Sunset, Texas.[5]
