Oceola Dodd was enumerated as son at 548th Militia District, Clayton County, Georgia for the June 5, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as at school, born 1872 in Georgia and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self James T Dodd, wife Mittie Dodd, daughter Maggie Dodd, son Asa M Dodd, daughter Mollie L Dodd, daughter Cora I Dodd, son Willie T Dodd, son Arthur Dodd, son Norwood Dodd, son Wayd H Dodd, other George F Howard, other George E Devine, other Joseph B Travis, other Samuel Hunt, other John R Price, other Hayden J Mims, other Henry L Cook, other Solomon Everet and other Dolly Thomas.[1]

Oceala Dodd was enumerated as head of the household in Red Apple, Boaz, Marshall County, Alabama for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born October 1871 in Georgia. He had been married eight years and was an owner as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Celie C Dodd, daughter Cleo Dodd, son James A Dodd, daughter Burthy M Dodd, daughter Mertle E Dodd and boarder [brother-in-law] Thomas C Thompson.[2]

Oscola Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Mt. Vernon and Albertville Road, Red Apple, Marshall County, Alabama for the April 25, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1872 in Georgia and had been married fifteen years. He was a farmer on a home farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Celia Dodd, son Arthur Dodd, daughter Bertha Dodd, daughter Myrtle Dodd, daughter Lola Dodd, daughter Erlene Dodd and daughter Cleo Dodd.[3]

Ociola Dodd was enumerated as head of the household at Red Apple, Marshall County, Alabama for the January 10, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1872 in Georgia and married. He was an owner and a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Cilco Dodd, daughter Lola Dodd and daughter Ealine Dodd.[4]

Oscida Dedd was listed as the father of Myrtle Estell Brock who died September 1, 1966 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. The mother was listed as Cicia Thompson.[5]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[6] Oceola Dodd is buried at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Boaz, Marshall County, Alabama.[7]
