Bird Dodson was born 16th September 1790, in Virginia. Bird was the son of Raleigh Dodson Jr. and Margaret Dodson.[1]
Bird's came to Tennessee with his parents about 1806, and eventually settled in Williamson County, Tennessee.
Bird married Judith Holland on the 6 June 1817 in Williamson County, Tennessee.[2]
Bird appears in the 1850 Federal census in Williamson County, Tennessee. Bird's household appears as follows: Bird, age 59, born Virginia; Judith, age 49, born Virginia; Elizabeth J., age 17, born Tennessee; and Martha S., age 4, born Tennessee.[3]
Bird appears in the 1860 Federal census in Williamson County, Tennessee. Bird's household appears as follows: Bird, age 69, born Virginia; Judith, age 62, born Virginia; James Campbell, age 32, born Tennessee; Jane Campbell, age 25, born Tennessee; and Bird D. Campbell, age 6 months, born Tennessee.[4]
Bird made his will on the 15th of January 1869 in Williamson County, Tennessee.
Bird died on the 9th of February 1869 in Williamson County, Tennessee. Bird's will was probated in March 1869 in Williamson County, Tennessee.
