Biography

Elisha Dodson was born about 1780 in North Carolina. Elisha was the son of Thomas Greenham Dodson and Sarah Dodson.

Elisha married Anne Dodson on the 19th May 1808 in Maury county, Tennessee.[1]

Elisha appears in the 1840 Federal census in Giles county, Tennessee. Elisha's household appears as follows: 1 male age 10 thru 14; 1 male age 60 thru 69; 1 female age 5 thru 9; 1 female age 15 thru 19; and 1 female age 40 thru 49.[2]

Elisha died in May 1850 in Giles county, Tennessee. Elisha's death is listed in the 1850 Federal Mortality Census. Elisha's age is given as 70; place of birth listed as North Carolina and cause of death was listed as: Cancer. [3]
