Biography

Charles Dodsonwas born in Medford, Jackson County, OR USA in 1895 [1]and died in 1972 in San Francisco though he is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Yreka, Siskiyou, CA USA [2] and is the son of David A and Elva L (Arant) Dodson. In 1910 he was 16 and living in Siskiyou County, CA USA with his parents. [3]

Marriages: 1. Lysle Stockton born in Wyoming 1895[4] and they had one son: Robert "Bobby" Dodson who died at age 7 in Dunsmuir, Shasta, CA USA.[5] 2. Elva Arant b 11 Apr 1907 died 20 Jul 1970. and they had a son Darwin Milton "Tom" Dodson b 27 Jan 1929. 3. Pearl ______ d 1982 of a stroke. They had no children together. She is buried in Yreka, Shasta, CA, Evergreen Cemetery.[6]

There is a Darwin A(lexander?) Dodson buried in Medford, Oregon born 1892 and who died in 1893. There is no parentage listed but they [David Alexander and Narcissa (Simpson) Dodson would have been in this general area in Northern California, or southern Oregon at that time. It appears to me that David and Narcissi Dodson had Darwin A die as a toddler and when the next child was born in 1894, that son they named him Darwin Donnelly. Are there others who know this to be true? Dodson-3592
