Biography

John was born in 1892. He was the son of Zachary Dodson. In early childhood he lived in Clem, OR with his parents. He served in WWI for 2 year in the Air Force. In 1920 he entered LaSalle School of Business at Spokane. A merchant opening a store in Caldwell, ID gave him work in his business as a salesman. In Caldwell he met Marie Snyder (b 29 Mar 1900) , a student at the College of Idaho and she graduated in 1924. She was a teacher in high schools of Chelan, Sunnyside and Harrington for 6 years. They married 27 Nov 1930. He went to farming and raised a son, Jerry Dean. His health started failing in 1956 but it was't until 1976 that he passed away. ^[1]
